Seco with a new look
in action
Starting immediately, our technicians are out on the road serving customers in brand-new service vehicles. Our new fleet features the new Seco design. Our service areas are now clearly marked on the vehicle doors.
The latest generation of Volkswagen T7 Transporters with 110 hp and 6-speed manual transmission are used. The striking, more angular design creates more space and additional freedom of movement in the interior, especially in the cargo area.
Seco Continues to Grow: New Location in Dresden
Since early July, Seco has continued to expand in eastern Germany. Our new branch in Dresden marks the addition of yet another location.
Similar to our office in Berlin, we are establishing a branch here with a direct presence in the region. A particular focus in Dresden is on building management systems, which specifically complement our existing range of services. Our approach remains the same: We grow where our customers need us and integrate our services beyond individual trades. Refrigeration, electrical engineering, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, as well as building management systems, all work together seamlessly.
Under the leadership of our new branch manager, Oliver Gärtner, Seco has found a new home in the Coschütz/Gittersee neighborhood of Dresden.
We are now looking forward to seeing the team in Dresden continue to grow and to working together to support new clients and projects in the region.

Training Seal 2025
We are delighted to announce that we have once again been awarded the 2025 Training Seal of Approval by the Dortmund Chamber of Crafts – for the next three years! Seco has once again been recognized for its outstanding training quality – proof that our training concept is future-oriented and practical. A big thank you goes to our dedicated training team, our motivated trainees, and our technicians, who have contributed to this success every day with their heart and soul, enthusiasm, and passion. On September 19, we were honored to receive the certificate at a ceremony at the HWK Hansemann Training Center in Dortmund-Mengede. It was a great moment that made us all very proud. … train whatever you can!
Family business with a new generation
At 61, our founder Gerd-Uwe Drobig is not thinking about retiring, but rather about the future of Seco. Succession is one of the biggest challenges for family businesses, and we are delighted that two of our three sons are joining us on this journey.
Our 30-year-old son Jonas is already firmly established in the management team. After completing his training as a mechatronics engineer for refrigeration technology and further commercial training, he brings a breath of fresh air and new perspectives to our company. Together, we have developed a clear plan for day-to-day business.
Our youngest son Paul is also currently completing a dual degree program and is gradually preparing for his entry into the company. This is how we ensure that Seco will continue into the next generation. With the same passion, expertise, and family commitment that characterizes our name.
